Most people complain that there are not enough hours in the day to get all of the things completed on their to-do list. Most of us potentially have a couple of hours a week of spare minutes that we waste. What are extra minutes? Spare minutes are the “in-between time” you have between activities.
For example, suppose you’re waiting for a client to call or show up. What do you do with the 10 to 15 minutes beforehand?
Or suppose you are at the doctor’s office waiting for your appointment.
Or you were at the car dealer in the waiting room for them to bring you your car.
Or waiting to be seated in a restaurant that you were told will be a 25-30 minute wait.
Or they are waiting for a meeting or seminar to get started.
Are you productive during those minutes, or do you squander them by checking social media, playing games, or reading the latest news headlines?
We waste much time each day by letting spare minutes slip through our fingers.
Here are some suggestions for those spare minutes;
Review your goals- Make sure you are still on track.
Work on your MIT(Most Important Task).
Brainstorm marketing ideas.
Write a blog post.
Plan out your week.
If you spend more of your spare minutes working on essential things, you will feel more productive and less agitated.
